Add/Clear Path Locks (Solver)
This phase manipulates the path locking controls—ie the buttons found in the Axis Locks section of the Solver control panel and on the left-hand side of the Hard and Soft Lock Control dialog.
The phase affects the locks over a range of frames given on its control panel (starting and ending frame). In the Add mode, the selected channels gain locks for those frames. In the Clear mode, any existing locks in those channels of those frames are removed. In Restore mode, the locks are restored to their settings from the main panel.
Only the locks on those channels selected on the phase's control panel are affected, ranging from X, Y, and Z axes, Tilt, Pan, and Roll axes, to the FOV and Object Distance locks.
The phase also can copy the object's solve path to be the new seed path, so that downstream phases can lock to the solved path, as controlled by the Solve to Seed checkbox (no action taken if the phase is set to Clear mode). Note that all channels of the seed path are affected, not just the selected ones—you can use this phase to change the seed path without affecting the locks bits at all.
