Animated Rectangle Aspect?
Just like field of view, there could be a different rectangle aspect ratio determined on every frame of a shot, based on the best-matching corner locations. A rectangle with a changing physical aspect would have to be animated through the entire tool chain.
However, animated aspect ratios doesn't correspond to our physical model, that of a fixed-3D-size and fixed-3D-aspect rectangle that is being tracked. So there is an intentional choice to find the best positions with the same 3D aspect—several algorithms work specifically to maintain the originally-chosen aspect ratio (either a known aspect, or that resulting from the original corner placements).
