Solve (Solver)
This phase runs the main SynthEyes solver, which you would ordinarily encounter just by clicking Go! on a SynthEyes scene with no phases set up. The Solve phase breaks the solving process down into individual steps which can be enabled or disabled, and thus performed by other phases—other Solve phases or other phase kinds altogether.
The Solver steps that can be enabled or disabled include Autoplace, Post-align, Filter, Run ZWTs, Run textures, Run motion-capture, Run lights, and Run Flexes. Post-align is the important step of re-aligning and scaling the scene to match the coordinate system constraints when the Constrain checkbox is OFF. When Constrain is on, the scene must already be solved and close enough to the constraints that they can be applied immediately without mishap.
Other Solve phase controls replace those on the Solver control panel: Constrain and Slow/Sure. The Slow/Sure checkbox overlays itself on the incoming slow/sure value: an object is solved using the slow/sure method if its incoming per-object slow/sure is on, or if the overall solver phase slow/sure is on.
