‌Future Lessons for Synthia

Hopefully you've read through the manual to get here. If you have, and you've done the exercises and read the answers, you probably have a surprisingly good handle on Synthia. Congratulations!

Synthia is designed to learn (more precisely, to be taught) continually over time. Whatever you've seen above can always be better (and might already be); there's no end to the possible features.

Here are some significant areas where Synthia still has a lot to learn.

• How to describe what it can't understand, and how ambiguous interpretations are different from one another, in more situations

• Metarules!

• SynthEyes Phases… there are a lot, with a lot of details!

• Support for SimulTrack, Phase, and Graph Editor windows.

• A pop-up window to edit procedures.

• Integrated Sizzle. Synthia can be taught Sizzle as a second language, for extending Synthia.

• Embedded manuals. Full SynthEyes and Synthia manuals’ text available for search and display.

• Embedded tutorials. Full text of SynthEyes tutorials for search and display, plus the ability to cause them to start playing.
